1.) Drew McIntyre

Every once in a while, John Cena teases becoming a 17-time World Champion. Since he has never battled WWE Champion Drew McIntyre one-on-one, now would be the perfect time to tease it again, especially on the road to WWE SummerSlam 2020.

Drew McIntyre needs consistent star-making performances for his WWE Championship reign before he is considered the official face of the WWE. The WWE can’t stop booking McIntyre against formidable opponents just because he already defeated Brock Lesnar; this company needs to keep his momentum going before the WWE Universe loses interest.

As of now, Seth Rollins is a formidable opponent for McIntyre at WWE MITB 2020 but the WWE should have probably built Rollins back up again with some key victories before pitting him against McIntyre. Getting a WWE Championship match right after losing to Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 36 is just faulty booking.

It makes victories matter less in the WWE would thereby make McIntyre’s victory over Rollins matter less even though he is technically defeating the original Beast Slayer. As for Cena, he has been built as the face that runs the place in the WWE for more than ten years, so defeating him would do wonders for McIntyre’s reign no matter what.
