2.) AJ Styles

Imagine matching Edge’s ruthless with AJ Styles’ athleticism? The WWE Universe would be in for a treat. Instead of reverting back to a storyline with Randy Orton, Edge could pursue one of the top heels on Monday Night Raw whom he happened to eliminate from the Royal Rumble this year.

That top heel is AJ Styles, who was injured in that Royal Rumble match but recently made a phenomenal return from the dead to WWE Monday Night Raw to win an epic gauntlet match that guaranteed him the final spot in the Men’s MITB Ladder Match.

If Styles happens to win the MITB Ladder Match this year, it would be suitable for him to get involved in a rivalry with the first ever MITB Winner, Edge, on the Raw after WWE MITB 2020. Both Styles and Edge defeated Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35 and WrestleMania 36 respectively, so they have something in common.

Just like Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre are fighting to determine who is the better Beast Slayer, Styles and Edge would be fighting to determine who is the best Snake Slayer. A match between them could go either way and be solid booking.

Either Styles wins to prove that he is a future world champion with the briefcase in his grasp or Edge wins to continue his momentum from his long-awaited return to in-ring competition. The WWE can’t go wrong with this phenomenal dream match.
