I wouldn’t mind seeing the Lucha House Party win

Yes, I used a personal pronoun in the sub-heading to clarify that this is a matter of personal bias and/or taste, but I would not be opposed to the Lucha House Party scoring an upset victory in the Fatal Four-Way SmackDown Tag Title match on Sunday at Money in the Bank.

Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado have been dazzling fans in WWE for years, especially those of us who watched 205 Live regularly when it was at its peak in late 2017 and through 2018 before its top stars were called up.

In singles matches, Metalik and Dorado were great. But in tag team matches, they were legendary, especially in the most chaotic matches like tornado tag matches.

Sunday’s title match at Money in the Bank will be pure chaos, and I would not bet against Lucha House Party winning. The Forgotten Sons seem like the better bet for an upset, and pretty much everyone thinks The New Day retains.

But why not go for something more interesting? I’m sure Vince McMahon is high on the Forgotten Sons, but, let’s be honest, they are going nowhere right now. There’s nothing interesting about them.

Lucha House Party seem to be there to take the pin, so I’m not getting my hopes up. But after watching them put together another show-stealing sequence in an eight-man tag match, I’d love to see them pull it off.
