How will Dana Brooke and Carmella’s relationship unfold at MITB?
Dana Brooke and Carmella are the best of friends on WWE SmackDown, often cutting backstage promos together and supporting each other. Carmella doubted Brooke’s ability to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match in her bout with Naomi, but Dana prevailed. Meanwhile, ‘Mella needed interference from Sonya Deville in order to beat Mandy Rose and qualify.
The pair cut another backstage promo with Kayla Braxton – who, by the way, was absolutely fantastic this week in multiple interviews – and Carmella was the one who brought up her experience as a two-time MITB winner. She made the tried-and-true comment of alliances not meaning anything but her being OK with it.
We’re definitely going to get interactions between Dana and ‘Mella on Sunday, and one of them is going to have the choice to help the other wrestler or try to go for the briefcase. It’s going to backfire on the wrestler who chooses to go for the contract, as they won’t win anyway but may have to deal with a rival. And my bet is on Brooke being the one who has the opportunity to make that move.

Either way, I genuinely enjoy watching Dana Brooke and Carmella work with each other in backstage promos and look forward to seeing if they work together at Money in the Bank.
