WWE Raw Predictions: Rated RKO Will Reunite

3.) Who’s Next For WWE Champion Drew McIntyre?

Assuming Drew McIntyre defeats Seth Rollins to retain the WWE Championship at WWE MITB 2020, his next opponent will very likely be Jinder Mahal. Recently, Mahal returned to in-ring competition and has been branded as a former WWE Champion to conveniently remind everyone of his main event status.

Thanks to said branding and their 3MB history, it would be sensible booking if Mahal was McIntyre’s next challenger. As unfavorable as this prediction may sound, this rivalry is unquestionably going to happen at some point during Drew McIntyre’s championship reign, whether the WWE Universe is fond of it or not.

Prediction: Jinder Mahal

2.) Who’s Next For Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch?

As prematurely announced, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, who has now racked up the most total days as Raw Women’s Champion in history, will confront the Women’s MITB Winner on this episode of Raw. Henceforth, there are only three plausible options for Becky Lynch’s next challenger: (1) Asuka, (2) Shayna Baszler, or (3) Nia Jax.

These three superstars are the only plausible options because they are the only Raw superstars from the Women’s MITB Ladder Match, which immediately cancels out Lacey Evans, Dana Brooke, and Carmella as potential winners for the ladder match at WWE MITB 2020. Out of those three Raw superstars, Shayna Baszler is the betting favorite for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match, so she will most likely be the superstar whom Lynch confronts on this episode.

In retrospect, Nia Jax would make sense as Lynch’s next challenger due to the ‘facebreaker’ storyline from 2018’s Survivor Series build but Baszler still needs to redeem herself from her more recent Mania 36 defeat to Lynch. As for Asuka, she has already finished her rivalry with Lynch, so it’s unnecessary to revisit that rivalry when there are more compelling options afoot.
