WWE Raw Predictions: Rated RKO Will Reunite

1.) What’s Next For Randy Orton and Edge?

As exigently announced, Edge will be on the hunt for Randy Orton on this episode of Monday Night Raw. Since Edge already defeated Orton at WrestleMania 36, the WWE fans may curiously yet fairly wonder why the winner would be hunting the loser.

Now, it is perceivable that Edge and Orton will fight again, but why would it have to be against each other? What if they instead fought together as Rated RKO, just like the old days? That could very well be why Edge is hunting down Orton again.

Let’s not forget that Orton was in this rivalry with Edge because he wanted to protect Edge from being harmed by anyone else in the locker room. He felt that Edge’s return to the WWE was ill-advised and thereby wanted to end Edge’s career at WrestleMania 36 not for his own self-indulgence but more importantly to protect Edge from regretfully experiencing the same pain that he experienced nine years ago.

In short, he was treating Edge like a brother (i.e. tough love); brothers fight all the time but they have each other’s back when either is in dire circumstances. Orton knows that Edge showed tough love to him in the past when he was in dire circumstances, so he was simply returning the favor.

If Edge comes back to this episode Raw and is unceremoniously attacked by a group of heels before he can even finish his promo, expect Orton to run in like a true babyface and save Edge, reuniting Rated RKO as a solid reboot to boost ratings on the flagship show. Now, that’s gritty.
