Guest Appearances

From Brother Love, to John Laurinaitis, Paul Heyman, as well as daddy and daughter McMahon, the guest appearances during the match were well placed, and offered some hilarious and unexpected moments.

While all were humorous in their own right, Dana Brooke thinking she snagged the women’s MITB briefcase (only for Stephanie McMahon to enter the room and rain on her parade) – plus, AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan (accidentally) stumbling into Vince McMahon’s office were the best-of-the-best.

AJ Spooked

Speaking of AJ Styles, the fact that he literally stopped in his footsteps the moment he saw that poster of the Undertaker was the perfect way to continue to tell the story of what happened to him during his buried alive match with the Phenom, and how shaken his character has become as it relates to the Deadman.

Styles recently returned to the WWE, and really hadn’t been seen since his infamous WM 36 match.

The fact that he didn’t address how he “unburied” himself after WrestleMania 36 raised some eyebrows from fans on social media, so this moment in particular, and the way it unfolded with him shying away from a room at WWE Headquarters (that might be considered the Undertaker’s office), was a cool spot.
