Something needs to happen to King Corbin

I know that I hate King Corbin as a professional wrestling fan, which is supposed to happen. He’s doing a great job, and it is true when fans call him an “old school” heel. But as a critic, sometimes I wonder if WWE could be pushing things just a little bit more with Corbin. I get that the company doesn’t want him to be a “cool heel”, and I respect that. There’s still a way to make Corbin a true heel without making him totally boring, and there are some periods of SmackDown where I’m rolling my eyes nad not booing.

After WWE Money in the Bank 2020, I better not be rolling my eyes at Corbin at any given moment, because this man is a certified murder. He threw both WWE icon Rey Mysterio and beloved rising star Aleister Black off the roof of the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut with such a callous disregard for human life.

There needs to be repercussions for the so-called “King” of Friday Night SmackDown, but without former Hound of Justice Roman Reigns or the Fashion Police to lay down the law, who will step up?

Corbin has a chance to get even more heat than he already has, which is an almost unfathomable thought. But if WWE play their cards right, Corbin’s double-homicide could help a babyface greatly.
