Drew McIntyre is everything and more

Going into the WWE Money in the Bank 2020 Pay Per View, I knew the ladder matches would be the event we’d all be talking about on the day after the show. However, I also had a feeling Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre would be the best match of the night from an in-ring perspective, and we were not disappointed.

For the second year in a row, Rollins was a part of a banger at Money in the Bank, having produced a classic in 2019 with AJ Styles when he was the WWE Champion. At this year’s show, Rollins’ task was to put over McIntyre as the most bad-ass man in the land, and he did so by selling like CRAZY for the WrestleMania 36 main event victor.

McIntyre, for his part, was also incredible, as he has been since winning the Royal Rumble in January. Nobody in men’s wrestling can match McIntyre’s intensity right now. He looks like a top star, and Vince McMahon and the company have to be beyond ecstatic with how he’s stepped up his game as champion.

The Chosen One, as he was first known in WWE, has always been ready for this. He was a great NXT Champion, too. And now, he’s backing up all the talk when he first came into WWE by being an incredible champion. His match with Rollins is absolutely worth a rewatch.
