Jon Moxley vs. Brodie Lee – AEW World Championship

About a month or so ago, Brodie Lee finally revealed himself as the ever elusive Exalted One and just last week set his sights on Jon Moxley’s AEW World Championship by laying out the champ and stealing his belt. And just like that, Lee vs. Mox is official for the PPV. Because what are rankings anyway if that’s all it takes to get a title shot?

Anyway, this is a tough one to decide. It feels too early for Mox’s title reign to end (he only won it at the last PPV and this is his first PPV title defense) but it also seems too early for Lee to lose any matches (this is only his first PPV match, and sans a bout against Christopher Daniels happening tomorrow night, his bout with Mox will be his first competitive one since joining the company).

However, since The Dark Order were already viewed as a bunch of losers before Lee debuted, it wouldn’t fit their potential as a top heel stable very well if their brand new leader loses his first big match. So let him win.

And to bring things back to that Casino Ladder Match, since Colt Cabana debuted by fighting off The Dark Order, call back to that by having him become the number one contender to fight off the stable’s leader in a title match.

Next. Who could join Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy and Colt Cabana in the Ladder Match?. dark

Prediction: Brodie Lee
