WWE: The 5 Biggest Feuds We’ve Still Never Had
By Mark Justice
3b.) Undisputed Era vs. The New Day
As NXT Champion Adam Cole recently mentioned on The Bump, he would be happy to have a faction war against the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The New Day. In fact, they even had an opportunity to mix it up in an eight-man tag team match on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2019. However, an actual feud with a traditional tag team match has not yet been booked.
The New Day is one of the biggest babyface factions in recent memory and The Undisputed Era is one the biggest heel factions in recent memory. Pitting them against each other is a dream come true, and that’s an understatement. Instead, here’s a hyperbole: Pitting them against each other is as great as the NY Knicks winning the NBA championship in the 21st century.
Although this would be an amazing rivalry, it’s unfortunate that The New Day is one member short of defying the numbers game Undisputed Era have an advantage in. Nonetheless, it would make the babyface New Day look strong in defeat if they do lose to Undisputed Era in a match.
3a.) Undisputed Era vs. The Crusade
Unlike The New Day, The Crusade, which consists of Seth Rollins, Buddy Murphy and AOP would qualify perfectly when it comes to the numbers game. Although both factions are heel, Adam Cole did have an opportunity to mix it up with Seth Rollins on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2019, giving the WWE Universe a taste of what’s to come if they ever clash again.
The match between Cole and Rollins ended in a disqualification, which is an inconclusive result. Inconclusive results warrant rematches done the line, and it would be a smart booking idea to book two heel factions in a war against each other once the AOP return from injury.
