WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House is the next Performance Center special on the docket. Could Kevin Owens be coming to a house near you?

Well, hopefully not to an actual house near you or in your house specifically, since we are all still supposed to be doing this whole social distancing thing, but when it comes to WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House, let’s hope he does.

But first, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. After not getting a TakeOver event from NXT since last February and because that Tampa Bay TakeOver due for April was partially cancelled (“partially” because most of the card’s matches were instead sprinkled across consecutive weeks of NXT TV), NXT brings the series back on Jun. 7 and this time, it won’t be hailing from another state or city. Instead, it’ll be hailing from … In Your House!

Which is perfectly fitting for the times. Not just because of the obvious “we’re all quarantined in our houses” jokes we can see from a mile away, but because TakeOver, in many ways, is like a modern day In Your House, which much like TakeOver was a series of PPV events that was a staple of WWE programming back in the 90s.

This time, we get a crossover event for next month. As of now, no matches have been announced for the card, but enough storylines have been laid out in a way that we at least have an idea of what’s the come. And in areas where we have no idea what could happen, we can just have a little fun. Which is how Kevin Owens got into the mix. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves too soon.

First, let’s predict what the Women’s Championship match could look like.
