2.) Who is Next for WWE Champion Drew McIntyre?

On last week’s Raw, MVP assured that Bobby Lashley realized that his last WWE Championship match was thirteen years ago (i.e. against John Cena at WWE Great American Bash 2007) and that he should be battling for that championship right now instead of battling Humberto Carillo. Lashley took MVP’s thought-provoking advice and decided to join him, much to Lana’s chagrin.

As for this episode of Monday Night Raw, Lashley will act on that advice and attack WWE Champion Drew McIntyre once McIntyre is done with King Corbin. This post-match attack should set up a championship match between these two juggernauts at WWE Backlash 2020.

1.) Who is Next for Raw Women’s Champion Asuka?

On last week’s Raw, while Asuka was busy celebrating her Raw Women’s Championship coronation and congratulating Becky Lynch on her pregnancy, Shayna Baszler was busy decimating Natalya and acquiring heel heat by shaming Lynch for ‘getting knocked up’ during her prestigious Raw Women’s Championship run.

As for this episode of Monday Night Raw, Baszler, who was reportedly originally scheduled to win the MITB Briefcase before the WWE knew of Becky Lynch’s pregnancy, will be next in line for Raw Women’s Champion Asuka. They will battle one-on-one for the first time ever at WWE Backlash 2020, where the WWE Universe will fear Asuka’s inevitable fate as a transitional champion.
