Deonna Purrazzo

Deonna Purazzo always seemed, to me, a better fit for AEW than WWE. Similar to Drew Gulak, The Virtuosa put her in-ring work ahead of character work. While she showcased herself in the past to be a tremendous in-ring technician, but in a land that puts character work over in-ring wrestling, she struggled to find a niche.

In AEW, Purrazzo would be able to focus on her in-ring ability rather than feeling forced to perfect a character to maintain relevance. And if we are talking strictly wrestling, Purrazzo has proven to be one of the best women wrestler’s that the wrestling world has to offer today.

Deonna Purrazzo already explained to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that she had an opportunity to wrestle at All In, but turned it down in favor of signing a contract with WWE, a contract she worried wouldn’t be offered again to her after participating in the show.

She regrets that decision now, but with the producers of All In now running All Elite Wrestling, then surely, there should be a push from both parties to work together this time around. Just imagine the matches she could have against the likes of Britt Baker and Big Swole. That’s money waiting to happen.
