Get your big, baggy cargo pants, cut up the cheapest black pantyhose you can find for some sleeves and break out the psychedelic guitar stylings of Zack Tempest, it’s time we talk about The Hardy Boyz.

Starting with WWE as separate enhancement talents as early as 1995, the two Funkin’ Dojo graduates eventually began teaming and went through a few different managers throughout the later 1990s.

Originally managed by Dok Hendrix/Michael “P. S.” Hayes, the group later fell in with the blood-drinking, puffy blouse enthusiast, Gangrel as the short-lived “New Brood” before coming into their own as The Hardy Boyz with the managerial services of Terri. Lita later joined the group and Team Xtreme was born.

The Hardy Boyz rose to prominence as members of a new generation of wrestlers with their work against Edge & Christian through the 1990s and would later feud with the aforementioned Dudley Boyz. While The Dudleyz were no strangers to putting others through tables, the signature of The Hardy Boyz became sacrificing their bodies in all sorts of ways to hurt their opponents.
