Big E

Surprise, Surprise. Did you think that AJ Styles has faced all three members of The New Day by now? If so, we are here to tell you that it isn’t a fact.

AJ “Stylin’ and Profilin” Styles – as Ric Flair would call him – faced Xavier Woods on the Jun. 16, 2016 episode of SmackDown and Kofi Kingston on Mar. 3, 2016, then Feb. 12, 2019 in a Gauntlet Match to determine the fate of his KofiMania journey.

AJ Styles has never faced Big E one on one. There is a good reason that the company should build up a storyline involving these two superstars.

If this allows Big E to embark on a journey as a singles competitor, then that will be a welcome change because the big man deserves it. It would serve him well, and if he doesn’t turn heel in the process, then The New Day would still be together without any hassles.

The two superstars in this match are great storytellers, and if allowed to go as they please, then they will create something magical between the ropes for the fans. The two have the skill set to be the biggest and best in-ring competitors. Bruce Pichard would have to give them full freedom to execute a storyline to perfection.
