My idea is that those Women’s Tag Titles could really act as an anchor in the downfall of Bay and Banks. Sasha and Bayley win them this Friday, they start up a program with Bliss and Cross (who desperately want their championships back), they fight back and forth (at PPVs, saving promo banter segments for TV).

It’s a storyline that could go on for months if done right – it’s also a storyline that could continue into SummerSlam season and after it.

With reports surfacing that WWE is delaying the Banks and Bayley match up (due to COVID-19 crowd-less reasons) even further, as it was first slated for Wrestlemania 36, and then for this year’s SummerSlam, if the idea is to further push this potential feud back, then continuing a tag titles program with Bliss/Cross/Banks/Bay, with a side arc around Bayley and Sasha slowly cracking, could help.

I mean, instead of a match at SummerSlam, why not have their friendship explode during SummerSlam and after their match?

If they lose and it is seemingly Bayley’s fault (plus we witness a Sasha Banks face turn) fans may enjoy watching the fireworks works fly, post-match loss, well after Bliss and Cross celebrate becoming three-time Women’s Tag Team Champions.
