WWE NXT/NXT UK: Top 5 Theme Songs for Men, Women, and Tag Teams

Men’s Division
Karrion Kross – “Dead Silent”
The chills I got when I first heard this song. I think it’s a very easy argument to make that this theme song is one of the best NXT songs in years, even though it debuted nearly two months ago.
The song starts with an eerie intro littered with punishing drums. Then, we are introduced to captivating vocals lulling us into a sense of false security, like a siren song. These vocals are produced by none other than Scarlett, the manager of Karrion Kross. As the song progresses, it picks up intensity until it finally hits its breaking point. Now we are rip for the picking to fall and pray. The theme explodes into heavy metal with punishing drums, raiding guitar, and invading chanting.
This song gives me shivers.
10 out of 10? Yes.
Chances of you falling and praying? Critical.
Likelihood of listening to it outside of a wrestling show? FALL AND PRAY! FALL AND PRAY!
Women’s Division
Isla Dawn – “Intruders (Remix)”
This song is everything: hot, captivating, hypnotizing, and so unique. The intro does a great job of hooking you in and intriguing you. Its use of instruments and sound effects, plus the little choir singing in the background, makes it so haunting. It then transitions into a few well-orchestrated rock breakdown that highlight different instrumentals and switch up the patterns just enough to carry you through the song. It also brings you back to that intro sound again.
The sound captures the essence of Isla Dawn very well (who is by the way a very underrated wrestler). She has the presence of Celtic witch, mixing a seductive charm and disarming aura with a force-to-be-reckoned-with attitude.
How underrated is this song? Extremely.
Chances you may fall for her charm? Too late, mate.
Likelihood of listening to it outside of a wrestling show? Yes, yes, love it.
Tag Team Division
Gallus – “Beat me”
HEEEY YeAH! Dun dun, dun dun dun duuuun dun nun nun. OHHH WHOOA!
Man, I just love this song. It’s so simple, but just so effective. It’s the theme equivalent of someone that only says a few words but those words hit the hardest.
The use of the drums and claps give a bit of that “We Will Rock You” vibe before being accompanied by repeated vocals and the riffing guitar. Add in a solo or two, and you got this melodic, fighter anthem fit for a clan waiting to take over NXT UK.
Read to claim your kingdom? Yes.
Chances of getting into a fight? High.
Chances of having to restrain Wolfie? You MUST be ready.
Likelihood of listening to it outside of a wrestling show? HEEEEY YEAH!
