Andrade wins back his US Title

When Apollo defeated Andrade to win his very first title in his WWE career, we all were hoping and assuming that his United States Championship reign would be a long, lengthy and entertaining title reign. Not so fast.

Maybe I’m just bitter and jaded – to be fair, there’s a lot going on in the world to be bitter and jaded about – and I’m not as optimistic as I probably should be, but that idea of a long title reign for Crews sounds too good to be true. Maybe in a perfect world, Crews gets the dues he deserves, but the world isn’t perfect and neither is WWE.

More often than not, WWE gon’ WWE and one of the most WWE things that I can imagine them doing is having Apollo lose to the same man he won his title from in under a month after first winning it; in his first Pay-Per-View title defense, no less.

Would it suck to see? Yep. Would it lead to a public outcry from the P.O.’d fans of the WWE Universe? Yep. Will WWE mistake the outcry from angry and disappointed fans as “good heat for Andrade?” Cue the “Yep!” chants from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn already.
