Hangman Page and Kenny Omega (c) vs. Best Friends – AEW Tag Team Championship

Surprisingly, this one is a little hard to call. On one hand, since Hangman Page was out of action for so long at the height of the novel coronavirus pandemic and he really only just came back, I’d imagine him and Kenny Omega will be defending their titles as often as possible against as many challengers as possible to make up for lost time.

On the other hand, and maybe this is just my bias as a Best Friends fan talking, but a win for Trent vs. Chuckie T could build back up whatever animosity was brewing between Omega and Hangman pre-pandemic. Their team was teasing a breakup, but it’s since cooled down since Page came back. Losing the titles could bring that storyline back to the forefront.

On the other hand, Best Friends have kept themselves busy trying to have Orange Cassidy’s back against Chris Jericho as of late. Their lack of focus on the prize could offer a reason for why they fumble trying to win them two weeks from now.

All things considered, Page and Omega probably win this one.

Cody (c) vs. Jake Hager – AEW Television Championship.

I’m just going to keep this one short and sweet: Cody will and should win. Because f*** Jake Hager. Because reasons. These reasons, actually.
