Shorty G

It is an unfortunate truth that the WWE has a bad habit of under-utilizing some of the talent on their roster. There may be a list of other names that come to mind when thinking about the list of wrestlers that have floundered off of television in the last few years, but Chad “Shorty G” Gable deserves to be near the top of the list.

Calling Gable “Shorty G” is even an unfortunate slap in the face. He may be billed as 5’8, but it’s hard to believe that Styles is really much bigger in any way. Gable excelled when he and Jason Jordan where the American Alpha pairing in NXT, but like so many other wrestlers his time on the main roster has not lived up to the past.

He is had some shining moments, such as the run to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, but WWE Creative continues to flake at the idea of doing anything of substance with this performer.

All could easily be forgiven if he is given an extended program with Styles. Like Riddle mentioned before, Styles would not be hurt in a feud where he eventually gives the title up the title to Gable who would benefit greatly from a victory and extended run with the title on his own.
