3.) Apollo Crews

Remember when Dolph Ziggler was booked in a handicap feud against Apollo Crews and Kalisto on SmackDown in 2017? It’s as forgettable as any handicap feud in the WWE, so no one should be held accountable for forgetting that feud.

Nonetheless, since Apollo Crews is now the United States Champion, it would be fitting to revisit that rivalry without the handicap. After dethroning Andrade and solidifying his championship reign against him in their rematch at WWE Backlash 2020, Crews now needs credible opponents, such as a former two time United States Champion in Dolph Ziggler, from whom he can feed off of and build up his popularity as a top babyface champion on the flagship show.

Let’s not forget that this is Crews’ first main roster championship in the WWE. Henceforth, it is more difficult for him to adjust and adapt to a champion’s schedule, which must explain Vince McMahon and the WWE Universe’s slight lack of interest in his title reign in the past week.

How will anyone expect Crews to get better as a champion if he does not learn from a fulfilling rivalry with a veteran like Dolph Ziggler?

Instead of booking Crews as a fluke champion who could lose the title in two months or less or turning him heel for nonsensical shock value (i.e. joining MVP’s franchise, which was teased on last week’s Raw), it would be far more fulfilling to book him as a credible champion who defeats credible opponents and can hold the fort in the mid card for months to come. Crews can’t lose, and he has to turn his opponents into opportunities.
