Jon Moxley
Did someone say that they need a ‘Thank You’? Well, guess what, your prayers have helped your opponent get this ovation and you a segment after the main event at AEW Double or Nothing. Jon Moxley was one superstar who was known for his lunatic fringe character in the WWE, and the current AEW Heavyweight Champion wasn’t able to do things his way.
Jon Moxley f.k.a. Dean Ambrose decided to take matters into his own hands as he denied signing on the dotted line, and it resulted in the former Shield Member getting his release from the WWE after WrestleMania in April last year.
The WWE Universe was smart enough to find out where their favorite superstar would land next, but it was explosive as it gets.
The former WWE superstar had made his presence felt, and it was a move that everyone expected, but the rise in his character has played a pivotal role in his success outside of WWE.
While a lot of superstars have joined or plan on joining some other promotions shortly, there is nothing that matches All Elite Wrestling’s ability to pick the right superstar that will add to their overall list of superstars and strengthen them against the competition.
