FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) & Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix) & The Butcher and The Blade

Bryan Heaton: I think this is possibly the first time a match featuring the Young Bucks, FTR, and/or the Lucha Bros may be a disappointment. I know, shame on me for thinking that, but I think too many people have expectations for this match that are way too high — it’s no fault of any of the performers, but the hype, even in just a few days, has overshadowed what the end result will be.

Regardless, I anticipate a fun match with a fair amount of both wild aerial spots and down-to-earth ground and pound brawling. All four teams are capable of some great things, but I think the point here is to eventually get to a Bucks/FTR blowoff. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lucha Bros/Butcher & Blade sneak away with a victory here.

Chris Jeter: I imagine we’ll see a lot of “anything you can do, I can do better” from The Bucks and FTR as a means to build to their inevitable showdown, but don’t expect this to merely serve as a showcase for the babyface team. If anything, this one will further drive home that AEW has the premier tag team division in the industry.

We’ll get some callbacks from past Bucks/Lucha Bros. matches and Blade & Butcher will get their moments to shine, too, but The Jacksons and the former Revival will get the W.

Samantha Schipman: I wasn’t sure when we’d seen Lucha Brothers again and I have missed seeing them in the ring. Seeing them in action is what I’m looking forward to most in this match. The Butcher and The Blade haven’t had much going on and this will be a good match to remind fans what they can do. Can the Young Bucks and FTR put their differences aside to work together? I think they will and they will win this match.
