3.) United States Champion Apollo Crews and 24/7 Champion R-Truth vs. Bobby Lashley and MVP [Tag Match]

On last week’s WWE Raw, Bobby Lashley pulled double duty. He executed a Full Nelson Lock on R-Truth, costing him the 24/7 Championship to Akira Tozawa and executed another Full Nelson Lock on United States Champion Apollo Crews as a foreshadowing of what’s to come once he and Crews are battling in a United States Championship match.

On this week’s WWE Raw, Apollo Crews and R-Truth should team up to battle a common enemy in Bobby Lashley alongside his manager, MVP. Bobby Lashley and MVP should win this tag team match with Lashley pinning Crews to earn a United States Championship opportunity at WWE Extreme Rules 2020.

Although Apollo Crews should not lose the championship yet, it is evident that Lashley is a main event talent who needs a consolation prize for failing to capture the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre. Losing to Crews should not be on Lashley’s resume, so the rest of the story is purely academic.

Assuming that R-Truth wins the 24/7 Championship back from Akira Tozawa, MVP could probably get a 24/7 Championship opportunity as well. He and Lashley have been heavily involved in the 24/7 Championship picture so it’s only a matter of time before MVP picks up the belt because Lashley is too big of a star to win that title.

Prediction: Bobby Lashley and MVP
