WWE SummerSlam 2020 Predictions: Drew McIntyre Will Shock The System

Matt Riddle vs. King Corbin [Grudge Match]
Matt Riddle and King Corbin had memorable encounters at WWE Survivor Series 2019 and WWE Royal Rumble 2020, both of which Corbin got the upper hand on Riddle. Corbin eliminated Riddle during the Men’s Survivor Series Match after Riddle eliminated Randy Orton, and he eliminated Riddle from the Royal Rumble in less than five minutes. Based on these past events, it is fair to evaluate that Corbin has Riddle’s number.
Now that Riddle got called up to SmackDown, he is finally on the same brand as Corbin and can get his babyface comeuppance, which he should earn on a big stage like WWE SummerSlam 2020. Recently, Corbin has been booked like a big loser on the blue brand so there’s only hope that WWE will book him with more positive momentum on the road to the biggest event of the summer so that Riddle’s victory over Corbin is more meaningful and can push him further up the card.

Seth Rollins (w/Buddy Murphy) vs. Rey Mysterio (w/Dominick Mysterio) [Mask vs. Hair Match]
Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio are currently in a rivalry that might remind many of CM Punk’s rivalry with Mysterio in 2010. During those times, CM Punk tormented Aaliyah, Rey Mysterio’s daughter, by singing her ‘Happy Birthday’ and attempting to add her to the Straight Edge Society. Coincidentally, Seth Rollins is attempting the same thing with Rey Mysterio’s son, Dominick, today.
Since CM Punk and Rey Mysterio’s rivalry ended in a mask vs. hair match and Mysterio had dreamt of ending his career in a mask vs. hair match on WWE’s The Bump, it would make sense for Rollins to end Mysterio’s career in a Mask vs. Hair match at WWE SummerSlam 2020. With Mysterio’s contract ending in September, Rollins will be taking Dominick under his wing in no time.
