WWE Raw: 3 possible finishes for Asuka vs. Bayley

Sasha Banks saves Bayley, but Asuka wins by DQ

WWE can’t have too many DQ finishes after using an interference for the main event of the first night of NXT Great American Bash, but I have to say that the interference finish in NXT was perfectly done. So they can honestly get away with going for a DQ, as long as it progresses the storyline.

In that case, Sasha could actually come to Bayley’s aid successfully, preventing the champion from being pinned before her own title match at Extreme Rules. Banks could swoop in at the last second, and I think offering competent help would go a longer way in this storyline than having Sasha cost Bayley in a non-title match. That’s not enough to cause a friendship blow-up, and the little teases are already sufficient.

Asuka would get the win by disqualification after Sasha’s save, but Sasha would make the save by putting some fists (or even a steel chair) to The Empress of Yesterday (sorry, had to!) and that could also do wonders for adding more emotions to their feud.

Remember, Banks has to be livid at Asuka for misting her and costing her a marquee victory over Io Shirai. You had better believe she’s motivated to beat the living hell out of Asuka.
