Kairi Sane has been removed from the WWE Raw graphic and isn’t listed as being in Asuka’s corner for the match, but that could be a red herring. Perhaps Sane will be involved, even if she doesn’t start the match in Asuka’s corner.

Plus, it would be amazing to see Sane back. She is reportedly leaving WWE soon, and wrestling fans want to see her and Asuka face Sasha Banks and Bayley for the Women’s Tag Team Championships before she goes.

The best way to set that dream tag title match up is to have Sane cost Bayley in this match. She can either do that by attacking Bayley before Bayley is about to pin Asuka, or, more likely, she can prevent Bayley from cheating to win. Or another scenario that might be even more likely: she can jump in to the action to stop Sasha Banks from interrupting the match in a way that would have helped Bayley defeat Asuka.

Kairi Sane is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and WWE fans will miss watching her on a weekly basis. The least WWE could do is book her in something interesting when she’s on her way out, since she has been booked for appearances.
