This decision may have some underhanded implications or foreshadow what will occur between Banks and Bayley.
Banks did convey that she was jealous of Bayley’s dos straps. If Bayley screws her in this championship match against Asuka, the rifts in their friendship could be drawn wider on the road to WWE SummerSlam 2020. Banks is very dedicated to winning two championships like Bayley and Bayley’s ‘inadvertent’ mishaps would make Banks question their friendship.
Nonetheless, after defeating The IIconics on the June 22, 2020, episode of Raw to retain the women’s tag team championships, Banks had called out Asuka for a championship match, which set up their double contract signing with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and number one contender Dolph Ziggler as well as a mixed tag team match…
