3.) Sasha Banks needs HIAC 2019 redemption from loss to Becky Lynch

Remember when Sasha Banks returned to in-ring competition after a four-month hiatus with a ground-breaking heel turn to challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell 2019? What if Sasha Banks defeated Asuka to win the same Raw Women’s Championship that Becky Lynch bestowed upon Asuka post-WWE MITB 2020? That would be the ideal way for Banks to obtain WWE HIAC 2019 redemption from that loss to Becky Lynch.

It was quite deflating when Banks lost in that show-stealing Raw Women’s Championship match against Becky Lynch at HIAC 2019. Many WWE fans foresaw Banks solidifying her epic return and heel turn by defeating the woman who main evented WrestleMania to become the next big thing in the WWE. After that loss, it took a while for Banks to pick up momentum again, and everything has now come full circle with this upcoming championship match against Asuka.

Now is Banks’ time to finally redeem herself from that loss to Becky Lynch. Defeating Asuka in this high stake championship match would tease a Raw Women’s Championship rematch against Becky Lynch down the road, preferably on a big stage like WrestleMania. Lynch would want to win back the title she never lost and whoever dethrones Asuka would be Lynch’s ultimate opponent. Nonetheless, there is a bigger picture as to why Banks really needs to win at Extreme Rules.
