Bobby Lashley and MVP Promo

Grade: B+, The United States Title looks like a real upgrade from the current one, and this segment did a nice job of furthering the rivalry between MVP and Lashley and Apollo Crews.

MVP and Bobby Lashley came out to insult Apollo Crews, going along with MVP’s grudge with Apollo for rejecting his “help” as a manager. He says that Apollo may think he’s invincible, but he’s not invincible in the face of Lashley’s Full Nelson submission finisher.

Then, MVP unveiled a new United States Championship with a shiny gold design. Quite an upgrade! He said that the title suits a legend like himself, and he’s excited to beat Apollo Crews for the US Title at Extreme Rules.

But Lashley took it a step further. He said that if he makes the claim on WWE Raw, it’s official. Lashley put the US Title around his waist, and he declared MVP the US Champion.

Cedric Alexander and Ricochet then came out to stop MVP and Lashley in their tracks. While Alexander admitted the championship looks nice, he reminded MVP that he should know of everyone that he has to earn a title in order to be champion.

Alexander and Ricochet dropkicked Lashley outside the ring, much to The Dominator’s frustration.
