WWE Rumors: A ‘good’ offer could be coming for Kairi Sane

Although Kairi Sane seems to be finishing up with WWE, the company may still be trying to convince her to stay.

Kairi Sane has been one of the best wrestlers in the world over the past five years, and she’s had some wonderful runs in WWE since signing with the company from STARDOM in 2017. She has won the Mae Young Classic, the NXT Title, and the Women’s Tag Team Titles. In 2018, Sane was even named NXT’s Overall Competitor of the Year.

But two years later, Sane appears to be leaving WWE when the three-year deal she initially signed in 2017 expires. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer News reported that she will return to wrestle in Japan for one more year and then retire.

That said, the talk of Sane leaving WWE after finishing her last remaining dates is not official, and there’s a chance she could stay with the company. That’s according to talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy, who says it is not a “lock” Sane leaves. He even adds that WWE will make her a “good” offer to try and keep her.

WWE has stalled with giving Rey Mysterio a bigger deal because of the pandemic, and they even released wrestlers even though they didn’t need to. They can actually afford to sign Sane to a bigger deal, especially since she doesn’t make nearly as much money as Mysterio. Basically, most wrestlers in WWE are underpaid, but every single woman in the company is underpaid.

Hopefully, Sane is able to make the best decision for her career and herself. She must be in a difficult situation right now having to juggle a lot of things while making a decision, and even though a “good offer” from WWE is a positive, it can be an additional source of stress if it makes it even harder for her to come to a decision.

In the meantime, Sane returned to television on Raw this week to put on a great match with Sasha Banks and will compete for the tag titles next week on Raw. She is an amazing performer.
