3.) Jeff Hardy, Matt Riddle, and Drew Gulak vs. King Corbin, The Miz, and John Morrison [6-Man Tag Team Match]

On last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, Matt Riddle defeated John Morrison in a match that Corbin booked and Drew Gulak saved him from AJ Styles’ post-match attack before falling short to Styles in their Intercontinental Championship match immediately afterward. On this week’s SmackDown, Jeff Hardy will be on Miz TV to discuss his rivalry with Sheamus, which experienced a downturn last week in their egregious ‘main event’ segment.

Evidently, The Miz and Morrison will push some buttons, angering Jeff Hardy to set up a match later on in the night. Since Corbin lost to Hardy two weeks ago, played GM last week, and ended up joining forces with Morrison and Miz whilst interacting with Riddle, it would make sense for them to battle common enemies in Hardy, Riddle, and Gulak in a six-man tag team match. This would be some neat booking since Riddle and Gulak were allies before in a popular stable called Catch Point.

Considering that Daniel Bryan is off television for the time being and Gulak helped Riddle on last week’s SmackDown and labeled him ‘his friend’ during a backstage exclusive interview, it wouldn’t be too far fetched to see this reunion take place on this episode. Matt Riddle himself was reportedly interested in forming a stable with Bryan and Gulak, so putting them in a six-man tag match with Hardy would help plant the seeds for that faction.

Prediction: Jeff Hardy, Matt Riddle, and Drew Gulak
