Karaoke Showdown

Grade: F, THIS is what WWE SmackDown had booked for four women wrestlers on the brand? Shame on them. Disastrous segment. The only saving grace was the end when Naomi took off her earrings and threw her shoe at Lacey. Also, thank goodness Evans is a heel again.

Dana Brooke, Tamina, Lacey Evans, and Naomi are four talented women on the WWE SmackDown roster, and they were being asked to sing their favorite theme for 45 seconds in this Karaoke Showdown. Thanks Bruce Prichard! Way to make the most out of a two-hour show. Oh, and Jey Uso was the host.

Lacey started it off by singing Jeff Jarrett’s theme song, and she was not bad. Then Dana Brooke went up second, singing the Honky Tonk Man’s equally legendary theme song. Brooke was full of enthusiasm, but Jey interrupted her and said, “You ARE bad!” So that was that.

Tamina was up next, and they really made her sing Triple H’s theme song “The Game”. Yeah, that was never going to happen. Jey stopped it when Tamina got a little too intense with the headbanging.

And finally, Naomi stepped up. She sung Dusty Rhodes’ theme to.

The winner was, per usual, set up by applause. Lacey Evans received a nice round, Dana got some boos, Tamina got a few more boos, and then Naomi got the loudest round of applause, as you’d expect. So Naomi was the winner of this disastrous Karaoke Showdown.

Lacey was upset that Naomi won and shoved her from behind, so Jey had to step in. But Naomi wasn’t having it…and then the shoes came off…

Seriously, SmackDown needs to do better by its super-talented Women’s Division.
