Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, is one of the best characters in AEW and has been on an absolute roll recently with her promo work. She’s injured, but she’s still a regular part of the show, and she was even kidnapped by Big Swole on the most recent episode of Dynamite.

When she was signed to AEW, wrestling fans saw Baker as the biggest name in the emergent division and the future top star. But she hasn’t won a world title yet. That’s all for the better, though. Fans know she’ll get there eventually, and AEW have been both fleshing out her character more, with the heel turn being an absolute stroke of genius made all the better by Baker’s charisma and willingness to play the character so perfectly.

Baker does everything to get under your skin, and she’s already made plenty of enemies in the division. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that she’s willing to use expensive shoes to interfere in a match.

I’m not entirely sure if Baker wins the title before the year ends, but because of her star power and her recent performances on Dynamite this summer, she is near the top of the list. At this point, every diehard wrestling fan knows exactly who Baker is, and she’s really clicking as a villain. It’s also easy to forget that she’s quite good in the ring, because she’s become one of the very best promos in the whole company.
