Sasha Banks vs Bayley (SmackDown Women’s Championship)

If you check your 2018 wrestling wishlist right now, you will find Sasha Banks versus Bayley written on it, but alas it is still in the list. It seems like WWE is not willing to get it off your list, or maybe they are. It is undeniable that the Women’s Tag Team Champions are making the program entertaining with their presence. We did see Charlotte Flair do that weeks back when she would travel to every show and be involved in matches every week.

The tide of time has changed, and Bayley-Sasha Banks have taken her place and are doing a great job at it. The friends are cutting edgy promos, and are putting superstars over in the process. The work done by them is yielding results, but it will come to fruition at Extreme Rules when Sasha Banks turns on her friend and sets the stage for a match at SummerSlam.

It may amuse some people that why would there be no title involved in this storyline, but the fact of the matter is that they don’t need a championship to make their storyline better. They have the skills to run it well without it too, but just in case Nikki Cross isn’t able to topple the champion then a title will be a great choice. It is also in line with the fact that Sasha Banks has never held the Women’s Championship gold on the blue brand.
