WWE Extreme Rules 2020 will take place on July 19, 2020 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT live on the WWE Network.

WWE Extreme Rules 2020! This is the best time of the year for bold predictions because there is a plenitude of swerves and cliffhangers that could take place at this PPV. From shocking returns to dangerous spots, this PPV has lived up to its name of ‘extreme.’ However, during this era of cinematic matches, this PPV has taken a twist with how ‘extreme’ it can really get.

Wyatt Swamp Fight? Eye for an Eye match? This PPV went from being ‘extreme’ to becoming a sequel to a ‘horror’ movie. Although this would have been a prototypical PPV for the month of October, Halloween came early this year in the spectral dimensions of the WWE, so let’s address some bold predictions for WWE Extreme Rules 2020. Out with the old, in with the bold.

5.) Erick Rowan Will Return To Help Bray Wyatt Defeat Braun Strowman

Since Heath Slater returned for a segment with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre for a 2MB reunion, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to see Erick Rowan return during the Wyatt Swamp Fight for a Wyatt Family Reunion. Unlike Luke Harper who is now known in AEW as Brodie Lee, Rowan was actually featured in some of the Wyatt Family vignettes shown in the past few weeks that were used to build up the storyline for Wyatt and Strowman.

Featuring him in these vignettes may have teased a return for Rowan. If he does return, he would help his former leader, Bray Wyatt, to defeat Braun Strowman in this non-title Wyatt Swamp Fight. This nefarious victory will help protect the Universal Champion in defeat and give Wyatt a reason to have a championship rematch at WWE SummerSlam 2020, where the Fiend can be unleashed and finally win back the Universal Championship he should have never lost.
