2.) Randy Orton vs. Big Show [Unsanctioned Match]

On last week’s WWE Raw, Randy Orton challenged Big Show to an unsanctioned match for this week’s episode. Let it be known that Orton and Big Show had a phenomenal match at WWE Extreme Rules 2013, and they could have used that historical overtone to their advantage at this year’s Extreme Rules PPV. Instead, the WWE decided to prioritize ratings over storylines by booking this match on this episode of Raw instead.

It is evident that Orton will win this match as he continues to fulfill his gimmick as the Legend Killer and soon become a top contender for the WWE Championship. This short-term feud with Big Show is merely a filler until Orton finally has the rumored title match against WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WWE SummerSlam 2020. Unlike the feud between Orton and Big Show, a feud between Orton and McIntyre is beneficial to the long term success of this company.

With Orton being the top heel and McIntyre being the top face on Monday Night Raw, it will be the clash of the Titans. The Legend Killer vs. The Psychopath? Who will be more minacious? Who will dig deeper? Who will fully utilize every fiber of their being to come out the victor in what will be a very pyrrhic experience? Will Orton usurp the top spot on the red brand or will McIntyre retain what he worked over nine years to earn? The questions are endless, but so are the answers.

Prediction: Randy Orton
