FTW Championship Match: Brian Cage (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

Every championship online is likely to even include the unofficial championship in AEW, as FTW Champion Brian Cage will likely be defending his title. While Cage is still certainly frustrated by not having captured the AEW World Championship, Taz will want to keep “The Machine” focused and look forward to rebuilding the legacy of the title he already holds.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Cage defend the title on an episode of AEW Dynamite as well, but the name that seems perfect to face him at AEW All Out is none other than “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy. As the months have passed, the once seemingly lazy and useless competitor has shown time and time again what he’s capable of when he cares.

We saw Cassidy and Cage square off a bit during the Casino Ladder Match back at AEW Double or Nothing 2020. Considering the mood Cage is in, one brief altercation would probably be enough to set this into motion and present to us a fascinating clash of styles with a legendary title on the line.

Cody vs. Chris Jericho

“Le Champion” Chris Jericho seems to have only gotten more and more frustrated since losing the AEW World Championship. He’s often taken over commentary, got in a brawl when Mike Tyson was visiting, and has seemed content to run roughshod over the entire roster as he sees fit.

Meanwhile, Cody has been laying a foundation as a spectacular inaugural TNT Champion. Of course, the title reign can’t last forever. As you’ll see in the next matchup, I believe Darby Allin will capture the title away from Cody in the coming weeks on AEW Dynamite.

That leaves Cody looking for a purpose, and he may find that in trying to rein in the chaos Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle look to unleash upon the AEW roster. Here we’d have an opportunity for a good ol’ fashioned grudge match with Cody trying to keep Chris Jericho in check and two ring generals showcasing their skills.
