Oney Lorcan

Oney Lorcan is more of a technical wrestler than the kind of guy who will show off in a ladder match, but he’d be a great shout to compete in a Triple Threat match, especially if his recent rival Timothy Thatcher is getting an opportunity.

Part of one of WWE NXT’s greatest tag teams with Danny Burch in the past, Lorcan is a hard-hitting wrestler who has become a fan favorite for his understated work over the years. He adds a lot of intensity and experience to any match, and he seems to be at his best in multi-man matches where he can show off his stamina and athleticism.

Jake Atlas

Jake Atlas has one of the best finishers in wrestling, which used to be called the LGB-DDT, and he shined in the Cruiserweight Championship Tournament recently. But NXT hasn’t used Atlas much lately, which is a shame. Wrestling fans are already worried about how Atlas will be booked as an openly gay wrestler, and his lack of appearances isn’t helping matters.

He probably won’t win a Triple Threat match, but, if we’re being honest, he should. Bronson Reed’s win was a big moment, and it’s a sign that the North American Championship ladder match will have rising stars and great athletes who can make the match just as much of a spectacle as the first one that crowned the inaugural champion. Except, you know, hopefully there won’t be as many problematic people.

Atlas can be the next big thing in WWE NXT, so he should at least get a chance to shine in a Triple Threat qualifier.
