WWE NXT: Predicting six more Triple Threat competitors

Joaquin Wilde

Formerly DJZ in Impact Wrestling, Joaquin Wilde has experience shining as an X Division Champion and tag team champion at the highest level. Although he was a great babyface in Impact, Wilde has shown he can be a strong heel in WWE NXT, joining Santos Escobar’s faction.

Escobar is the current Cruiserweight Champion, and Wilde should have Cruiserweight gold in his future, too. But it would be nice to see other members of the faction, named El Legado de Fantasma, get some opportunities.

Wilde has the athletic ability and in-ring experience to turn some heads in a Triple Threat.

Damian Priest

Damian Priest has future star written all over him, and WWE seems interested in pushing him on the Black and Gold brand. If there’s anyone who can stand alongside household name Finn Balor as a favorite to become the next North American Champion, then it is the intimidating Priest.

He has experience holding a singles title in Ring of Honor and has been talked about as a future star for years. Priest’s time should be coming soon, especially after his dazzling performance with Balor at NXT TakeOver: In Your House earlier this year.
