Master Wato, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Yuji Nagata, Kota Ibushi, and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. DOUKI, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., and Taichi.

Result: Kota Ibushi pins DOUKI for the win

The fifth match of the night at NJPW Sengoku Lord in Nagoya saw the former IWGP Tag Team Champions Kota Ibushi and Hiroshi Tanahashi take on the men who took their titles at Dominion, Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi, as well as the pairs stable leader, the always terrifying Minoru Suzuki.

Suzuki Gunn and Minoru Suzuki, in particular, seemed to focus their ire on the newest member of the main roster Master Wato prying and manipulating the man’s legs and neck as they tagged between themselves before the entire match broke down following Taichi’s taunting of the former tag champs in the center of the ring.

After a truly hectic end to this 10-man tag match which saw DOUKI wielding a tire iron against Master Wato, Kota Ibushi was able to secure the win with a superkick to DOUKI leaving him lying right in the center of the ring.

Grade: C+

The match was hard to follow as most 10-man matches are but was genuinely entertaining and served to continue to build the legend of Master Wato as he took a hell of a lot of punishment throughout the match without submitting.
