3.) Naomi

Naomi deserves better. When Naomi returned to the WWE during the Royal Rumble this year, many expected big plans for her. Unfortunately, after being out of the title picture for three years, she was still relegated to participating in a karaoke contest and losing to Lacey Evans in a disgraceful and insensitive manner.

Although her segment on Miz TV was insufficient in conveying the injustice she has dealt with in her career, she could be on her way to defeating Lacey Evans at this year’s SummerSlam event. This would give her the momentum she needs to get back in the SmackDown Women’s Championship picture post-SummerSlam.

2.) Nikki Cross

Nikki Cross was eminently impressive in her championship feud and match in her WWE Extreme Rules 2020 program with Bayley. She has truly been in her element this month and has proven that she can be a top singles star and a future women’s champion in this company.

This evolution could be a sign of an eventual break up with her tag team partner, Alexa Bliss. It will be interesting to see if her awkward tensions with Alexa Bliss recently will play a factor in her championship match with Bayley on this week’s SmackDown.

1.) Bayley Dos Straps

Ding Dong! Bayley is the best SmackDown Women’s Champion in WWE history.
