WWE Raw Underground: 6 more superstars who should join the fight

The final NXT option is none other than The Blackheart, former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. Since closing out his bitter rivalry with Johnny Gargano, Ciampa has struggled to find a foothold in an increasingly packed NXT roster. However, few may carry the mentality into Raw Underground that Ciampa would bring.

Look no further than all the things he’s done to Johnny Gargano throughout their years long rivalry, and you’ll see exactly what The Blackheart is capable of. As a part of Raw Underground, we could see a truly unhinged Ciampa ready to unleash hell on everyone he comes in contact with, and that would instantly show the world just how dangerous he can be.

Shayna Baszler

Finally, the only non-NXT option I’ve looked at is probably the biggest no-brainer of them all. When she arrived in WWE back in 2017, Shayna Baszler had already knocked out an entire legendary career as a trailblazer of women’s MMA. Baszler racked up a 15-11 record in MMA, securing 13 of those by submission, along with one knockout and one by decision.

Last week she seemed to be starting a rivalry with Nia Jax, but the actions of Jax have now left her suspended without pay. Baszler also seems content to wait until after SummerSlam, saying this week she hopes Asuka takes back the Raw Women’s Championship so Baszler can take it from The Empress of Tomorrow. So, what’s Baszler to do in the interim? Wreak havoc in Raw Underground.
