Apollo Crews and MVP will finally have a Pay Per View match for the United States Title at WWE SummerSlam 2020.

On Aug. 23 at WWE SummerSlam 2020, Apollo Crews will defend the United States Championship against MVP after proving he is the rightful owner of the title on the Aug. 3 episode of Raw. Their match kicked off Raw and was solid, but even though Apollo won cleanly, MVP grabbed the mic and demanded a rematch. Apollo, as a true fighting champion accepted.

Crews and MVP were supposed to have their title match at Extreme Rules, but Apollo was unable to compete. So MVP declared himself the winner by forfeit, walking around as the self-proclaimed champion with the newly-designed title.

Since Crews has taken a liking to the new design, that’s the championship that will be on the line at WWE SummerSlam 2020. This match will surely be as heated as any bout on the card, given that MVP has made it his mission to embarrass Crews ever since the young superstar declined MVP’s disingenuous offer to help manage him.

The Hurt Business is one of the latest heel stables in WWE, and they are gaining momentum. But here are three reasons why Apollo must remain the champion at SummerSlam.
