Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville [Hair vs. Hair Match]

Now that the themes about parties and spiked alcoholic beverages have been covered, it’s now time to expatiate on the feuds involving hair. On last week’s SmackDown, Rose and Deville’s rivalry became more personal when Deville gave Rose an unwanted haircut before Rose could have her planned date with Otis. This emotional interaction will elicit a match between these superstars at WWE SummerSlam 2020.

Deville has continuously gotten the upper hand over Rose. She has defeated her in televised grudge matches and mixed tag team matches alongside Dolph Ziggler in the past. Deville’s heel work has also been tremendous, truly making the fans feel sorrowful for the misfortunes Rose has been going through. Clearly, Rose needs to get her babyface comeuppance with a satisfying victory and good-feel moment at SummerSlam (i.e. cutting Deville’s hair).

Prediction: Mandy Rose

Naomi vs. Lacey Evans [Grudge Match]

Speaking of hair, Naomi’s hair seems to be the focus in her rivalry with Lacey Evans too. Evans has continuously assured that Naomi’s hair gets stuck in various areas around the ring, whether it be locked in the ropes or stuck in between the steel steps. While it’s easy to forget that this rivalry began in a karaoke contest, Evans and Naomi are at one win apiece and it would be sensible if they completed the trilogy at WWE SummerSlam 2020.

When Evans won the first match against Naomi, it was nefariously done after Naomi’s hair was stuck in the ropes. When Naomi won the second match against Evans, it was a fluky finish after Naomi rolled up Evans for the victory. This third match at SummerSlam is necessary for the babyface to pick up a clean win. Henceforth, Naomi needs to defeat Evans not only to set up a positive response to #NaomiDeservesBetter but to also set her up for a title opportunity.

Prediction: Naomi
