Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan

A duo that seems perfect for a group like RETRIBUTION would be none other than Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan, former members of The Riott Squad. On the surface, it fits because of course a group that loves to riot would fit with a faction that appreciates Molotov cocktails.

There’s an extra layer though, albeit one WWE may not acknowledge. The Riott Squad has come back together to an extent, but they can’t be truly complete because WWE released Sarah Logan. Finding their inner anger at WWE’s firing of their friend, Morgan and Riott could definitely be on board with a group looking to cause chaos within WWE.

Tommaso Ciampa

Another NXT star, which will fill out many of these potential options for the new faction RETRIBUTION, is former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. After returning from injury last year, Ciampa has struggled to find his way back to the NXT Championship.

He spent much of his post-return time dealing with Johnny Gargano, which led to some unforgettable matches but has left Ciampa relatively forgotten since losing in “One Final Beat” on NXT. The unpredictability and volatility of Ciampa would certainly fit a group like RETRIBUTION.

Samoa Joe

We don’t exactly know where Samoa Joe stands as far as being medically cleared to compete, but he teased an in-ring return this week when Joe refused to back down to Seth Rollins and Murphy at ringside. It’s been great to have Samoa Joe on commentary, but it would be even better to see him in action again.

Whether as an enforcer, or even a leader having orchestrated last week all while sitting on commentary, Samoa Joe would be a shocking and fantastic inclusion for a new faction like RETRIBUTION.
