Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae

Now, I absolutely don’t believe Gargano and Ciampa could co-exist in the same group. Let me make that perfectly clear. However, both could find their way into RETRIBUTION.

Johnny Gargano has continued to be a mainstay on NXT since vanquishing Ciampa during “One Final Beat,” but he’s failed to leverage that presence into a significant amount of success. The same could be said of Candice LeRae, who would certainly go along with Gargano in a group like RETRIBUTION.

Candice LeRae is undoubtedly one of the top in-ring competitors in WWE, but she’s rarely gotten the opportunity to show that. Gargano and LeRae would be interesting inclusions in RETRIBUTION, likely both looking to forcefully take the spots and control they believe they deserve.

Mia Yim

The final NXT inclusion on this list of possibilities is none other than “The Blasian Baddie” Mia Yim. When it comes to skill and grit, Mia Yim has shown time and time again on NXT what she’s capable of. Unfortunately, she’s never been able to turn that skill into championship gold.

On the contrary, Yim has been a mainstay of #1 Contender’s Matches, but rarely comes out on the winning side in these situations. Yim’s street aesthetic more than fits a unit like RETRIBUTION, and it would be a hell of a way to debut on WWE Raw.

Aleister Black

Last, but certainly not least, there’s Aleister Black. The former NXT Champion has had a lot of great moments since moving to the main roster, and he’s even racked up several big victories.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Vince McMahon may not be buying into Aleister Black’s character and instead be looking to overhaul things. If Aleister Black is indeed getting gimmick change, it would track to see him as a part of RETRIBUTION.

Whether as the leader, or one powerful member of the group, Aleister Black’s in-ring prowess and well-spoken mic skills could make the man once known as “The Anti-Hero” an instant asset to a new faction like RETRIBUTION as they start to make their mark on WWE Raw.
