3.) Dominick Mysterio Will Join Seth Rollins

“If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.” This mantra will speak volumes for Dominick Mysterio’s fate when he loses his debut match to Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam 2020. Many naysayers would argue that Dominick has to win his first match to kickstart his career in a positive direction. However, since Dominick is still green, Rollins will not lose to Dominick. Instead, he will add Dominick to his faction for an effective heel turn and risible swerve.

There have been several teases about the idea of Dominick turning his back on his father and joining Seth Rollins’ stable, especially during Rey Mysterio’s Raw Talk with MVP where MVP was insinuating that Rey should let Dominick spread his wings and bask in the tutelage of Seth Rollins. While MVP’s suggestion could indicate a foretelling sign of independency for Dominick, it would also be unscrupulous for Dominick to do this after all that Rollins put his father through.

For goodness sake, Rollins gouged Rey Mysterio’s eye out. Imagine how merciless Dominick would be to join Seth Rollins after that? This is why it would be a compelling heel turn that would assure Dominick’s long term success as a heel. After battling Rollins in a hard-fought match, Dominick will be indebted to him and have enough respect for Rollins to join his discipleship. Why die a hero when he can live long enough to become a villain, right?
