3.) Will Otis cash in his MITB contract?

Amit Shukla: A cash-in is best when it is unexpected, and Otis is not in a state where his cash-in will be a factor at this time. The superstar still needs to work his way through to become a bigger deal, and then the cash-in will make sense.

Chris Jeter: Wait, Otis still has the Money in the Bank briefcase? That is a not-so-startling indictment of how WWE has promoted a man who — in-storyline — has a chance to become WWE or Universal Champion, though him not being on TV with the briefcase is better than him losing all of his matches before cashing in on a vulnerable champion. Before WWE even thinks about putting a world title on a midcard comedy wrestler, they need to spend a few months building him up as a legit threat, which means they will not have Otis cash in on either champion.

Ernesto Solano: There will be no cash-in from Otis.

Kyla Hessler: Otis isn’t going to cash in his Money in the Bank contract at all during SummerSlam, mostly because there isn’t really anywhere for him to fit into the card. Right now, Otis seems to be wrapped up in the Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville drama, which makes sense as Mandy is his on-screen girlfriend, to be concerned with himself or his tag team partner at the moment.

The fact that Otis also has an entire year to cash in the title means that he has plenty of time to decide which title he wants to go for. It is essential that Otis be selective in his cashing in decision, because one choice can be the difference between whether or not he comes out as the new champion.

When Otis does cash in his MITB contract, he will cash it in for the Universal Champion since this will allow him to stay close to his tag team partner, Tucker, and his girlfriend, Mandy Rose. Otis must wait for the most optimal time to cash in his contract, and he must do so like a predator lying in wait.

Samantha Schipman: I don’t think Otis cashes in. I’m not sure WWE really had solid plans for him once he won the contract. If he does actually cash it in at some point, the tag team championship seems the most likely.
